Welcome to the Lake Butler Church of God:
We are committed to defending the faith once delivered to the
Saints by preaching, teaching and living according to the
whole counsel of God's word. We believe that every person
who is born of the Spirit of God should be baptized in water in
the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Ghost. We
further believe that every Christian should be sanctified and
filled with the Holy Ghost and fire as on the day of Pentecost in
the upper room. We firmly believe the main purpose of the
church is to help people become holy and live holy lives. We
have not and will not open our doors to the world (by lowering
the standards of holiness) in order to grow in numbers and
finances. Ear tickling and people pleasing will have no place in
the ministry of this church. We stand firmly on the conviction
that God is not willing that anyone should perish, but that all
should come to repentance, therefore we welcome any soul
who desires to come and worship with our congregation.
