Bro. Alvin & Sis. Jenny Lane
For anyone who attends the Lake Butler Church of God, you
know that it would be completely impossible to express the
impact Bro. & Sis. Lane has made on our lives. We have been
privileged to have Bro. & Sis. Lane serve for 31 years as our
pastor. The souls impacted for the kingdom of God are
countless, and continue to grow.
Following behind his mother's work for the Lord in Lake Butler,
Bro. Lane has continuously carried a burden for the work of
God in this community every minute he has been here. His
passion and dedication to God and the people of God are
evident every time he steps behind the pulpit. There is
know that it would be completely impossible to express the
impact Bro. & Sis. Lane has made on our lives. We have been
privileged to have Bro. & Sis. Lane serve for 31 years as our
pastor. The souls impacted for the kingdom of God are
countless, and continue to grow.
Following behind his mother's work for the Lord in Lake Butler,
Bro. Lane has continuously carried a burden for the work of
God in this community every minute he has been here. His
passion and dedication to God and the people of God are
evident every time he steps behind the pulpit. There is
never a question as to whether or not he has spent time with God during the week. God
always moves upon him to deliver the right message, at the right time, with the right
anointing. It is clear to the congregation that he has accepted the call to "feed the Lord's
sheep."
Also, his wife, Sis. Jenny works tirelessly for the Lake Butler Church of God. Many trips to
Sam's, organization of girl's club trips, ladies' ministry endeavours, many floors swept and
mopped, hundreds of spaghetti dinners are just a very few of the things she has
contributed throughout the years. She is a great asset to the church and we thank God
for her hard work.
It is obvious that we have a great ministry team leading the Lake Butler Church of God. It
is our prayer that somehow we can show to them and to God our appreciation for
allowing such a team to be our shepherd. We thank God for them, and we thank God for
what He has done through them, what He is doing and for what He will do.
