Lake Butler
Church of God
Thank you for your interest in the Lake Butler Church of God. The Lake
Butler Church of God was formed in 1948. Time and space will not
allow us to tell everything, but we wanted to write at least a few
things down to tell who we are.
We are a church that strives to be like the church in the book of Acts.
We are a church that is continuously seeking for the Holy Ghost to be
able to move with liberty and without restraint. We still believe in
Biblical holiness and will strive to be as God has commanded. We still
believe a person is to be saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy
Ghost and Fire! The Great Commission is not a suggestion to us, but a
command to us (and all Christians) that we take seriously. This short
paragraph could never fully tell anyone who we are completely, but
we pray it gives you some idea. For more information, click on the
